Sports Saturday
Chris Villani is the host of Sports Saturday on WGAM and has been covering Boston & New England sports for the past 3 years. He is also the play by play voice of the Harvard basketball team and has called numerous other events including the 2010 America East basketball tournament and the 2009 IIHF World Hockey Championships.
A 2007 graduate of Syracuse University, Chris began his career as a producer in Boston before hosting his own show, the Young Guns. He’s also worked for ESPN radio in Boston as both a show host and update anchor. He’s a lifelong Massachusetts resident, born in Milford, MA and currently living in the Boston suburb of Arlington.
When off the mic, he’s a devoted fitness enthusiast. He’s an avid cyclist, and will be riding in the 2010 Pan Mass Challenge to raise money for the Dana Farber Cancer Institute this August. He also practices the Korean martial art, Soo Bahk Do, dabbles in the guitar, and often spends his weekends umpiring amateur baseball.

Alastair Ingram brings nearly 2 years of experience as a host and update anchor in the Boston market to WGAM. He and Chris worked closely together with “The Young Guns” on 1510-AM The Zone followed by “The Boston Sports Postgame Show” on 890 ESPN radio.
A 2008 graduate of Syracuse University, Alastair spent the winter as the play-by-play voice of the University of Vermont Women’s Basketball team, calling the Catamounts first ever win in the NCAA Tournament. He has also called the action for Babson College in Wellesley, MA and the Lowell Spinners of the New York Penn League.
Alastair was born near London, England but moved to Bedford, MA with his family at the age 8. After losing his charming British accent almost instantaneously, he became enamored with many new sports which surprisingly didn’t involve shin guards or the word “nil.” As they say, the rest is history, and now he is cleverly disguised as the average American sports nut.
When he’s not obsessing over his short game or a fantasy baseball pick up, Alastair still keeps tabs on his favorite boyhood soccer team, Arsenal FC, and won’t apologize when he roots for England in the 2010 FIFA World Cup.
